We offer two options for our walk-behind models:
**Manual Gearbox**
The manual gearbox option will work well if you’re working on a beach, just going up and down with no obstacles. You select a gear based on the sand conditions and the desired working depth, release the clutch, and you’re off. It’s ideal for areas free of obstacles, as once the gear is set, you can operate it at a consistent speed.
**Hydrostatic Gearbox**
This option provides infinite speed control with a twist of the handlebar grip. It is particularly beneficial for manoeuvring around obstacles, making it easier to navigate tight spaces as you can adjust your speed on the go. A hydrostatic gearbox works similarly to an automatic gearbox in a car. This system allows you to infinitely adjust your speed, making it ideal for manoeuvring around obstacles. You can slow down as you approach the obstacle and speed up once clear without stopping and changing gears.
** Screening Module**
Both models use the same cleaning head designed for thorough sand cleaning in narrow beach sections, playgrounds and beach volleyball courts. They can turn on the spot and easily manoeuvre around obstacles such as signage, waste bins, sunbeds, and umbrellas.
